What Will Happen?

Meher Baba has said many different things about the breaking of His silence, and some of them may seem contradictory. But if we pull out some of the specific statements, we can see a pattern, with several main ideas:
When I break My silence . . .
. . . it will be when all the world has gone to the dogs!
. . . it will be an audible word to you.
. . . it will be the Primal Oceanic “M-m-m” which I will utter through My human mouth.
. . . it will make silent those who talk of everything but God.
. . . there will be nothing left for you to hear.
. . . it will not be to fill your ears with spiritual lectures.
. . . the Word of My Love will break out of its silence and speak in your hearts, telling you who I really am, and you will know that that is the Real Word you have been always longing to hear.
. . . I shall speak only one Word, and this Word will penetrate the hearts of all men and make even the sinner feel that he is meant to be a saint, while the saint will know that God is in the sinner as much as He is in himself.
. . . I will utter the Word of Words that will irresistibly impart to those who are ready, the “I-am-God” state (Ana’l Haq or Aham Brahma Asmi).
. . . I will perform the One Miracle, whose greatness and glory you cannot even imagine, and which will benefit not only those around Me, but the whole world — each and every being in consciousness.
. . . the impact of My love will be universal, and all life in creation will know, feel, and receive of it.
. . . My presence will flood the world, and even an inanimate thing like a stone will feel My love.
. . . it will help you to help yourself in knowing your real Self.
. . . the world will come to know that I am the Avatar of this age.
. . . the whole world will know and realize who I am!
. . . the world will be shaken into the realization of Who I am.
. . . a great push will be given to humanity.
. . . the impact will jolt the world out of its spiritual lethargy, and will push open the hearts of all who love Me and are connected with Me.
. . . there will be My Universal Manifestation and the world will come to know Who I am.
. . . My Divine Identity will be manifest to all, My Glory will reveal itself, the impact of My Love will be felt universally.
. . . the world will come to know that I am the One whom they were waiting for.
. . . the hearts of all those who have come in contact with Me will be ignited with love.
. . . I will bring the greatest treasure which it is possible for humans to receive —a treasure which includes all other treasures, which will endure forever, which increases when shared with others. Be ready to receive it.
. . . the impact of My WORD of words will be felt by the hearts of My lovers.
. . . it will reveal to man the universal oneness of God, which will bring about the universal brotherhood of man.
. . . at last the heart of the world can be touched.
. . . all problems, all over the world, will by themselves get solved and adjusted.
. . . the idea of the self as a limited, separate entity will disappear, and with it will vanish self-interest.
. . . cooperation will replace competition, certainty will replace fear, generosity will replace greed. Exploitation will disappear.
. . . I shall use My infinite power to give a universal spiritual awakening.
. . . it will be as forceful as hundreds of thousands of atom bombs exploding.
. . . for a short duration there will be increased warlike activities, followed by temporary peace.
. . . The Word that I will speak will go to the world as from God, not as from a philosopher; it will go straight to its heart. With the dawn of the realization of the Unity of all life, hatred and dissension will come to an end. There will be unfaltering love and unfailing understanding and men shall be united in an inviolable brotherhood, based on the realized Oneness of God.
. . . it will reveal to man the universal brotherhood of man.
. . . there will be many proofs of My spiritual power, and of My ability to bestow illumination.
. . . people will realize that Truth, which is the source of all love and existence, rules supreme in all departments of life.
. . . the fruits of My work will grow gradually during . . . My manifestation.
. . . My Word of words will touch the hearts of all mankind, and spontaneously this divine touch will instill in man the feeling of oneness of all fellow beings.
. . . happiness will reign.
. . . My Word of words will arouse My children to realize, in their lives, the indivisible Existence which is GOD.
. . . the whole world will know about it; and there will be many changes. You have no idea how insignificant your worries will become then.
. . . then I shall be free and the world shall also be free of oppression.
. . . there will be a great upheaval in the world.
. . . all confusion and despair which is your own shadow will vanish.
. . . mankind will realize what real freedom is.
. . . peace and brotherhood will come back into the world.
. . . the world will know that God not only exists, but that HE ALONE exists, infinitely and eternally.
. . . I shall open My Heart completely and keep it open.
. . . all your cups will be filled full of love — then you may drink to your hearts’ content.
. . . the first and last miracle of Baba in this life will be performed. It will be a miracle as I have never performed. I won’t raise the dead, but I will make those who live for the world, dead to the world, and alive in God. I won’t give sight to the blind, but will make those who see illusion blind to illusion, to see God as reality.
. . . all of you who have come into My contact will have some glimpse of Me. Some will have a little, some more, and some still more. When the powerhouse is switched on, wherever there are electric bulbs which have a connection with the powerhouse, there will be light.
What will happen when I break My silence
is what has never happened before.
